Community plays key role in testing a modified version of ‘Thai vaccine’ regimen

A much-anticipated clinical trial has begun in South Africa to test a modied version of the so-called Thai vaccine, the only experimental vaccine regimen so far to show modest protection against HIV/AIDS.
